We prepared a little present for a friend's daughter, who is going to be ten, but we decided to give a gift to her mother too. The little girl is fond of swimming and in one of the photos you can see a medal in her hands. What's the best prize for a mother? Just seeing her children growing up. So I made this simple but evocative layout. In Ancient Rome a noble woman showed Cornelia her jewels. When Cornelia saw her own children entering she replied: "These are my jewels!".

'La mia MEDAGLIA più BELLA sei TU' means 'YOU are my most BEAUTIFUL MEDAL'.

I splashed some ink and used a little circles stamp the make water-splash effect.

I made this medal with gold-like painting and then cut three stripes to make the Italian flag.
