Bouquet di feltro - Felt bouquet

Una decina di giorni fa ho finalmente consegnato un lavoro che mi ha tenuta impegnata nelle ultime settimane. È un bouquet per una sposa che voleva qualcosa di originale e a cui erano piaciuti i fiori di feltro che ho realizzato qualche mese fa. Così le ho proposto alcune varianti ed ecco qui il risultato: un coloratissimo bouquet che a fine cerimonia la sposa lancerà in cielo!

About ten days ago I finally completed a craft I have worked at during the last weeks. It is a bouquet for a bride who wanted something original and who liked the felt flowers I made a few months ago. So, I suggested her some changes and here's my output, a multicoloured bouquet that, after the ceremony, the bride will throw up to the sky!

Per fare gli steli ho usato del filo di ferro verde, poi li ho ricoperti con del nastro verde e decorati con un fiocco di nastro di pizzo.

To make the stem I used green wire, then I covered them with a green ribbon and decorated with a lace bow.

Le differenze con i fiori di feltro del vecchio post sono queste:

Nuovi fiori:
-Formati da quattro o cinque parti
-Parti a forma di petali e rotonde (normali e scalloped)
-Uno o più bottoni e perle
-Cotone mouliné
-Presenza della foglia e dello stelo
-Taglio preciso con Big Shot e fustelle

Vecchi fiori:
-Formati da tre parti
-Solo cinque tipi di petali
-Un solo bottone normale
-Cotone comune
-Assenza della foglia e dello stelo
-Tagliati a mano

Poi c'è qualche piccola differenza nei punti che ho ricamato e nella forma di alcuni petali.

New flowers:
-Four or five parts
-Petals and circles (normal and scalloped)
-One or two buttons or pearls
-Mouliné cotton
-Leaf and stem
-Accurate cut with Big shot and dies

Old flowers:
-Three parts
-Only five kinds of petals
-Only one normal button
-Common cotton
-No leaf and stem
-Handcut

Also the kind of sewing and some shapes of petals have little differences.

Vi lascio due citazioni e due canzoni che si collegano al tema di questa creazione, l'amore.
Mi piacerebbe che leggeste una poesia di Pablo Neruda che adoro, "Qui ti amo", tratta da "Venti poesie d'amore e una canzone disperata". A questo link trovate la traduzione di Giuseppe Bellini, docente di letteratura ispanoamericana e uno dei massimi esperti di Neruda.
L'altra citazione è di Gibran, il poeta libanese a cui mi sono ispirata anche per il layout "Quando l'amore vi chiama".

"... L'amore non dona che se stesso e nulla prende se non da se stesso.
L'amore non possiede né vorrebbe essere posseduto; poiché l'amore basta all'amore.
Quando amate non dovreste dire: "Dio è nel mio cuore", ma piuttosto "Io sono nel cuore di Dio".
E non pensate di poter voi condurre l'amore, poiché è l'amore che, se vi trova degni, condurrà voi.
..."

Le due canzoni sono entrambe cantate da Noa, una delle più belle voci di questi tempi. La prima è l'"Ave Maria" di Schubert, che spesso viene suonata ai matrimoni e quindi si collega direttamente al bouquet di questo post. La seconda canzone è "La vita è bella", che qui Noa canta a un concerto al Colosseo. Al pianoforte c'è Nicola Piovani (Oscar 1999), il genio che ha scritto questa musica e tante splendide colonne sonore.




I leave you two quotes and two songs related to the theme of this craft, love.
I would like you to read 'Here I love you' by the great Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, from the book 'Twenty love poems and a song of despair'.

Both songs are featured by Noa, one of the most beautiful voices of this time. The first one is Schubert's 'Ave Maria', that is often played at marriage celebrations in Italy and has directly to do with the craft of this post. The second song is 'Life is beautiful', that Noa sang during a concert at Colosseo, in Rome. The man who played the piano is Nicola Piovani (Oscar prize 1999), the genius who wrote this music and many other wonderful soundtracks.
