Oggi vi mostro un progetto importante che ho realizzato per una persona speciale.
È una torta di compleanno interamente di cartoncino, candeline comprese. Ma no, sto scherzando! C'è anche qualcosa di dolce da mangiare davvero, andate a cercare bene tra le foto!
Lo scorso autunno ho comprato questa bellissima fustella per fare delle scatoline e forma di fetta di torta e ho pensato subito di usarla per questa amica. Ho preparato metà torta, ma l'ho completata solo in questi ultimi giorni.

today I'm going to show you an important project I made for a special person.
It's a birthday cake all made with cardstock, included the small candles. Well, no, there's also something sweet she can really eat. Look for it among the photos!
Last autumn I bought this great die set to make small piece of cake boxes. I thought immediately to use it for this friend of mine. I made half of the cake, but I have completed it during these days.
Come sempre, ho costruito anche la scatola.
As usual, I made the box too.
Poi ho preparato la decorazione per il coperchio fustellando due etichette con bordi separati e timbrando ed embossando con la polvere oro "Happy birthday" e alcune farfalle.
Then I made the decoration for the lid. I die cut two tags with separate borders and I stamped and heat embossed with golden powder "Happy birthday" and some butterflies.
Preparare le candeline è stato un lavoro mooolto rilassante, credetemi!
Making the small candles was a veeery relaxing activity, believe me!
