19 Card Infermiere e dottoresse - 19 Nurses and doctors cards

Buongiorno, creative,

Good morning, crafters,

after so many albums, today I show you a bunch of cards I have made these days. They are 19 cards for nurses and doctors to thank them for all what they do.

I have used some sets of stamps and dies - many of them of the same brand - on health and chemistry. I'll show you them at the end of the post.

Infermiere / Nurses

1 - Infermiera è un'altra parola per dire "amore" / Nurse is just another word for love

For this card I have die cut the oval shape and colored it with a Distress Oxide inkpad. I used a lovely alphabet die set that cuts a very thin border. I colored the letters and the border with two shades of green I die cut each letter four times to give dimension. I put some foam behind the nurse.

2

I used a stencil to color the hearts and put a glossy paste. I put two stripes of gliettered foam and some foam behind the nurse and the speech bubble.

3

I used a plate die to make the sunshine effect. I made also one of the doctors cards with the other yellow pieces.

4

I have used the stencil you saw here and here and two Distress Oxide inkpads. I colored the blue rectangle and the word 'nurse' with other Oxide inkpads. I die cut four times the letters of the word 'nurse', so as I made in card # 1.

5

Here I have used one of my favourite techniques, inlay. I have die cut many patches from this rectangle and then put them back in it. I have put some tiny hearts in the centre of each patch. You can see some glossy accent on the hearts.

6 - Miglior.Infermiera.Di sempre / Best.Nurse.Ever

I due cut the photo frame and the other pieces and put some vellum to make it more similar to a real plate.

7

To make this card I have created this background stamping a lot of tiny images.

8 - Infermiera è un'altra parola per dire "eroe" / Nurse is another word for hero

To make this card background I used some Lawn Fawn sets, the hospital one and the street stand-alone die.

9 - La vita è un esperimento meraviglioso / Life is a wonderful experiment

I made the background using the Chemistry set of My Favourite Things. I used silver inkpad and embossing powder. I added a tiny heart with glossy accent on.

10 - Tu mi rendi felice felice felice / You make me happy happy happy

To make this card I have used the stamp and the technique you saw here. To make each 'happy' I die cut may shapes from two similar shades of color. I made the two waves with a small La Coppia Creativa die.

11 - Grazie per avermi fatto sentire meglio / Thank you for making me feel better

Here I have made a background using a stencil and two grey Distress inkpads.

12

Here I have used a pastel light blue cardstock I stamped tone-on-tone with a light blue inkpad and clear embossing powder.

13

Dopo ho cancellato questi cerchietti.

To make this card and open these small 'windows' I have used a Hero Arts plate die. I made some circles with apencil on the rectangle behind to know where I have to stamp the hidden images, then I erased teh circles.

Dottoresse / Doctors

1

Here I have used the same stencil you have seen in Nurses card #4 and the yellow and orange Distress Oxide inkpads. I used othe Oxide inkpads to color the green rectangle and the word DOC.

2

I made this card as I did for the Nurses card #9.

3 - Guarisci - Ordine del dottore! / Feel better - Doctor's orders!

Stessa procedura del biglietto Infermiere n°8.

Same steps of the Nurses card #8.

Thank you for being so patient with me

To make the waves I used the same die of Nurses card #10.

5

This is the twin card of Nurses card #3.

6

These tiny stamps are perfect to make backgrounds!

Adesso potete vedere alcune fasi della creazione.

Now you can see some steps of the making.

From this cardstock I die cut the word 'Doc' for Doctors card #1.

Now I'm going to show you the supplies I have used. I hope they can inspire you for your new crafts!

Presto vedrete altri biglietti fatti in particolare con questi timbri.

You will see soon more cards with these stamps. I used the set on the right here.

Ecco le fustelle dei due alfabeti.

Here are the two alphabets die sets.

I hope you like these cards! I have made them for some special people that many name 'heros' now - this is also in one of my cards - but I would like to say something about that. I don't think they are heroes. If you say someone is a hero you attach him/her a quality that is beyond human nature and you mean for these people it is easy to do what they do. It is easy to do special things if you are a hero. I think they are normal people who have the courage to overcome the limits - fear, tiredness... - that all normal people have. Among normal people some have courage and responsibility to face their limits and their weakness, some haven't. This is what makes the difference among people, among those who do and those who come under some pretexts to avoid to do. These people have no superhuman power, no magic wand. They just have the will to do the right thing, facing the fear that is normal for all human beings and taking care of other people with love. This is the reason why we must thank these people.
