Mini album Acquario - Aquarius mini album

Buonasera, creative,

oggi vi mostro un mini album che ho fatto in queste settimane per una persona del segno dell'Acquario. Ho messo il simbolo dell'Acquario per primo in questo cerchio e nell'ordine delle pagine. Per fare i segni zodiacali ho fustellato ogni simbolo cinque volte. La fustellata più in alto è fatta con un cartoncino specchiato.  Le costellazioni al centro le ho fatte con uno stencil e una pasta celeste metallizzata. Il bordo quadrato sottile è un cartoncino oro.

Good evening, crafters,

today I show you a mini album I have made these weeks for an Aquarious person. I have put the symbol of Aquarius in the first place in this circle and in the first page. To make the zodiac I have die cut each symbol five times. The upper die cut was made from a mirror cardstock. I made the constellations in the centre with a stencil and a metallic light blue paste. The thin square border is a golden cardstock.

Ho usato tre fili metallici dei tre colori usati nell'album, il blu, l'oro e il viola.

I have used three metal wires of the same colours I have used inside: blue, gold and purple.

Le frasi qui sotto e a pagina 7 sono tratte dalla canzone "Aquarius" del film Hair. Con quest'album intendo augurarle che, come dice la canzone, il sole entri finalmente nella sua vita.

The sentence on this page and on page 7 are from the song 'Aquarius' of the well-known movie 'Hair'. I made this album to wish her, as the song says, life will finally make the sunshine let in.

Alla fine del post vedrete alcune fasi di lavorazione. Per dare tridimensionalità a queste lettere ho fustellato ognuna cinque volte. Ho colorato la parola "age" con un pennarello acquerellabile e il Wink of Stella, "of" con l'acquerello oro e "Aquarius" con l'acquerello oro e un pigmento turchese.

Le gocce sulla pagina sono di acquerello oro.

At the end of the post you will see some steps of the making. To give dimension to the letters I die cut each one five times. I coloured the word 'age' with a watercolour marker and the Wink of Stella, 'of' with a golden watercolour and 'Aquarius' with a golden watercolour and a turquoise pigment. THe drops on the page are made with a golden watercolour.

Ho trovato due splendidi set di timbri con i segni zodiacali. Ve li mostrerò alla fine del post. Li ho usati con polveri da rilievo oro e argento. I timbri trasparenti sono i miei preferiti perché sono più versatili.

I bought two lovely Zodiac stamps sets. I will show you them at the end of the post. I used them with golden and silver embossing powders. Clear stamps are my favourite because they are more versatile.

Ho colorato questo cartoncino con un Distress Oxyde Ink, con una fustella ho creato le finte cuciture e poi ho incollato il rettangolo su un cartoncino oro.

I colored this cardstock with a Distress Oxyde Ink, I made the faux-stitching with a die and I put it on a gold cardstock.

Ho timbrato la luna e la scritta con i Distress Ink.

I stamped the moon and the sentiment with Distress Inks.

In alto il pigmento turchese, in basso gli acquerelli metallizzati.

The turquoise pigment on the top and the metal watercolors on the bottom.

Ecco come ho fatto l'effetto macchie lunari. Ho usato un timbro che avete visto anche nel segnalibro Bolle e nella shadow box Cielo.

Here's how I made the moon effect. I used this bubbles stamp to make also Bubbles bookmark and the Sky shadow box.
