Scatolina Neve 1 - Snow box 1

In questi giorni sto lavorando molto ai regalini di Natale e ora posso finalmente cominciare a mostrarvi la mia prima creazione. Ho creato, tra le altre cose, alcune di scatoline in due serie di colori: blu-bianco-argento e rosse-verde. In ogni scatolina ho aggiunto un piccolo dono creato da me che vedrete in uno dei miei prossimi post e un cioccolatino, e infine ho aggiunto una tag con gli stessi colori, sempre fatta da me.

These days I am working a lot at my Christmas small gifts and now I can finally start and show you my first creation. I crafted, among others, some little boxes in two series of colours: blue-white-silver and red-green. I have put in each box a small gift made by me that you will see in one of my next posts and a chocolate. Then I have added a tag I made with the same colours.

Ho fustellato i fiocchi di neve e poi ho aggiunto della polvere glitter. Anche il ghiaccio attorno alla scatola l'ho ricoperto con la polvere glitter e in più ho aggiunto il glossy accent.

I die-cut some snowflakes and then glittered them. I covered with glitter also the ice around the box and I added glossy accent too.

Ho creato campanelli dei colori che mi mancavano.

I covered the bells with new colours.

Poi ho appeso i campanelli con del filo metallico blu.

Then I hung the bells with some blue metal wire.

Una porta sul futuro - A door to future

Alcune settimane fa ho creato quest'album per il diciottesimo compleanno di una delle mie nipoti. Vi avevo detto che dopo qualche giorno avrei pubblicato il biglietto da visita che lo accompagnava, ma poi non ho avuto più tempo. A volte ci metto un po' a fare le cose, ma non me ne dimentico, perciò ecco qui il biglietto!
Naturalmente non pubblicherò qui quello che ho scritto dentro, però vi posso dire il significato del biglietto, che poi è legato ai miei auguri per lei. Il biglietto rappresenta una porta aperta sulla sua nuova vita da "adulta", ma con un solida casa di mattoni ho voluto ricordarle anche che ha una famiglia che le vuole bene, una base forte da cui partire, e la porta che resta aperta indica che quando ne avrà bisogno potrà tornare e trovare sempre sostegno.

A few weeks ago I created this album for one of my niece's 18th birthday. I told you a few days later I would have posted the card I gave her along with the album, but then I had not time to do it. Sometimes I take a while to do things, but I don't forget them, so here's the card!
Of course, I won't post here what I wrote inside, but I can tell you the meaning of the card, that is related to my wishes for her. The card represents a door open to her new life as an "adult", but with this strong brick house I wanted to remind her she has a family who loves her, a strong base from which she can fly. The door of the card is always open to mean that she can always come back and find love and support.

Ho embossato la base con i mattoni e l'ho distressata, poi ho applicato le foglie, anche queste distressate, e una porta embossata sulla carta effetto legno. Infine ho incollato l'iniziale di legno del nome di mia nipote, ho disegnato la serratura e creato il numero 18 con uno stencil e della pasta color rame.

I embossed the base with a brick folder and I distressed it, then I put the distressed leaves and an embossed door made with wood-like cardstock. I glued my niece's name first letter made with wood, I drew the keyhole and made the number 18 with a stencil and some copper paste.
