Mini album rosa Mariangela - Pink mini album for Mariangela

Buonasera, scrapper!
Qualche settimana fa ho fatto questo mini album per una mia amica che si chiama… come me! La Mariangela che nomino nel titolo del post, perciò, non sono io! Non posso dire che il rosa sia il suo colore preferito, ma è una persona dal cuore d'oro, quindi ho deciso di fare lo stesso un album dal colore zuccheroso.

A few weeks ago I made this mini album for a friend of mine whose name is… just mine! So the Mariangela you read in the post title is not me! Pink is not exactly her favourite colour, but she really has a heart of gold, this is why I decided to make such a sugary album.

Ecco la scatola. Chi di voi mi segue da tempo sa che adoro il cartoncino effetto legno. Questo è l'oggetto più grande che io abbia fatto finora con questo cartoncino.

Here's the box. Those of you who have been reading my blog for much time know that I love wood-like cardstock. This is the biggest object I have ever made with this cardstock.

Se vi state chiedendo perché ho fatto una scatola quadrata per un album rettangolare, è perché volevo usare il foglio con il disegno di una rosa molto grande, ma senza tagliarlo. Per l'album avrei dovuto tagliarlo o piegarlo per forza, allora ho deciso di usarlo per decorare il fondo della scatola, facendola un po' più grande.

If you are wondering why I made a square box for a rectangular album, well, it's because I wanted to use the paper with the big rose drawing, but I didn't want to cut it. If I had put it in the album, I would have had to cut it or fold it. So I decided to use it to decorate the bottom of the box and to make the box a little bigger.
