3 Card Geometrie orientali - 3 Eastern geometry cards

Buongiorno, creative,

Good afternoon, crafters,
today I show you three cards I made these last two days. I put a lot of light and gold on them. This is my way to overcome these days' difficulties and find light and hope. I hope I can give some hope to you too through my cards.
Stay at home, take care of your families and do something pleasant.

For these three cards I used the same die of a geometric pattern that reminds Islamic architecture. I love this artistic style. I told you about this passion a few years ago, in When love beckons to you post. In that post I quoted a great book of Lebanese poet Kahlil Gibran, 'The Prophet', and in particular a sentence of the text on love: 'When love beckons to you, follow him, though his ways are hard and steep'.
I used inlay technique for all the cards. In the first two cards I inlayed the geometric pattern directly on the card base. In card #3 I glued the pattern on the base. Anyway in all the cards I filled up the inner spaces.
I used on all cards the Gansai Tambi golden watercolours I told you about in some of my last posts (here).

Card #1

I sprinkled some Gansai Tambi golden and green watercolours, then I die cut the geometric pattern. I made the same thing with card #2 and then I exchanged the pieces.
I coloured a white carstock with a Yellow Distress inkpad and I inlayed it in some empty spaces of the geometric die cut.

I coloured more white cardstock with Distress inkpads and I die cut from them flowers and leaves. Then I sprinkled more golden watercolour.

I added some clear and yellos gems with different sizes.

Here you can see how I inlayed the pieces.

Here are the dies sets I used.

Card #2

As I have written above, I exchanges the pieces with card #1. Here I coloured also the card base with Distress inkpads, before die cutting the geometric pattern.
I added a layered die cut of the word 'love' as I explained here: I myself made the golden cardstock with my watercolours and then I layered some die cuts to give dimension to the word 'love'. This die too creates an inlayed word.

Qui ho aggiunto paillettes dorate e diamanti verdi.

Here I added golden sequins and green gems.

I showed you these three photos in this post.

Card #3

In this card the geometric pattern is layered on the base, not inlayed, but all the inner pieces are inlayed in the pattern.

Ho applicato delle mezze perle verdi e oro.

I glued some green and golden pearls.

I hope you like these cards. I also hope I can send them soon to three people I can make happy!

You can still join my blog candy for my blog's sixth birthday.
Due to what is happening, I will send the prize when the situation will be safe both where I live and where the winner lives.
