È una bimba! - It's a girl!

Mi hanno commissionato un biglietto d'auguri speciale per la nascita di una bimba e poiché avevo mostrato un campione ancora in fase embrionale (perdonate il gioco di parole :D) la richiesta è andata proprio verso questo progetto non finito. Si tratta di un progetto tridimensionale, perciò invece della busta ho dovuto realizzare una scatola, e non piccola. La persona che me l'ha commissionato mi ha lasciato libertà per la scatola, così ho pensato a una cosa molto particolare. Ma prima vediamo la scatola e poi vi spiego...

L'ho ricoperta con una carta che amo particolarmente e che ho già usato per un altro mini album, per la nascita di un bambino, e per un altro progetto che non ho ancora pubblicato, per una laurea.


L'ho chiusa con un nastrino rosa con un bel faccino sorridente.



La particolarità di questa scatola è l'apertura. Volevo che l'oggetto contenuto si vedesse sia dall'alto sia di profilo, prima ancora di toglierlo dalla scatola.

I made this particular opening so you can see the top and a side of the object inside without taking it out of the box.


In pratica, che sembrasse una cameretta rosa di una neonata, perché il biglietto d'auguri è una culla 3D!

So the box seems a baby bedroom because the card is a 3D cradle!



Ecco la scatola vuota. L'ho capovolta perché nella foto non si vedesse la mia finestra! Il lato che vedete a destra è in realtà il "pavimento" della cameretta.

The side on the right is the 'floor' of the bedroom.


Ecco la culla. Ho usato un cartoncino effetto legno.

Here's the cradle. I used a wood-like cardstock.


I love so much this die because I like 3D projects and in this case I can also use wood-like cardstock.






Ora solleviamo la coperta...

Now let's lift the blanket...

È morbido! Dentro ho messo del feltro.

It's soft! There is felt inside.
