Buongiorno a tutte,
Good afternoon everybody,
a few days ago I stamped, embossed and coloured this background with a lovely leaves set I bought about four years ago. I can't believe that… I have a lot of stuff that has been waiting in my drawers for some years, but I am starting using them right now.
I left this background card and others on the table for a few days, as I didn't know how to complete it. I didn't want to stamp a sentiment and put it on the card with a banner, as I have done with some stars card I'll show you soon. I wanted to do something more original and with no contrast of colour. Then I remembered a few months ago I bought a mini alphabet die set and I decided to use that one.
I die cut the circles with the letters from two cardstocks I had coloured with Distress inkpads. You saw these cardstocks in the Inlayed flowers cards post. I used two shades of green and they I put the letter inseide the circle exchanging the colours.
Then I coloured the edges of the circles with the gold watercolours I have used a lot recently, for example in Wonderful, Love rainbow stencil, Geometry e Flowers and leaves. I need a lot to use vivid colours and gold. They are like a therapy for me.
I put the tiny circles on the card with some foam.
You can see the leaf I used on the right. I have used the other stamps to create more cards I am trying to complete.
