Good afternoon everybody,
maybe you have noticed that durign the last weeks I have become a real stencil-addict!
Today I'll show you a card I have made with a stencil, Distress inkpads and a small die cut from a scrap I coloured with Gansai Tambi watercolours. I showed you these watercolours in 4 Notebooks and Butterflies book-box posts.
Questo è lo stencil che ho usato.
This is the stencil I used.
I have already shown you this die set in "Wonderful" black watercolour and gold cards and I told you to keep an eye on the "love" die. Here I have used the new technique I have learnt and used in 4 Black and Distress stencil cards: overlapping more words die cut to give dimension. Moreover in this case, as the word "love" has empty spaces inside, I have inlayed also small pieces making a contrast of colours.
I myself made the golden cardstock using the watercolours I told you about in my previous posts.

The way you create your gold paper is awesome!
RispondiEliminaI love that stencil and it's one I don't have...yet... the result is fab! It's a great way to create a rainbow effect and rainbows are always fun :-) I also love your stacked dies... it's a great technique, isn't it? Word dies are so useful.
RispondiEliminaI also have the Gansai Tambi wattercolours, but I've never ever used the gold - you may just have inspired me to try it ;-) Thank you.
Thank you for linking to Try it on Tuesday's current challenge.
